Review: Animal
Rating: 3.5 🌟🌟🌟
RK all the way. Whatever people say that it's misogynistic, extremely violent, no strong story etc. etc., the movie is pure raw performance. Whether it's RK (with his intensity), Bobby (with machismo and wild action sequence), Anil Kapoor in confrontational scenes with RK or the chemistry between RK and Rasshmika, the movie is pure entertainment. RK has carried forward the intensity of Rockstar and swankiness and swag from Sanju. Loved it to the core. Cameos by Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi was pleasant and surely a treat for the 70-80s generation. It's a pure and outrightly massy movie, high in testosterone, full of violence and bloodshed, vengeance served on a platter and not for the weak hearted. Watch it as an entertaining movie. People who love to dissect a movie as being misogynistic, bad influence on society, wrong portrayal of human values, degradation of ethics, moral turpitude, promotion of toxicity, please just stay away. It's just a movie and no reflection of society or lessons in moral science. Stop the dissection and enjoy the movie, characters, acting and genuine good performances. A big big shout out to Bobby Deol and the twist during the end credits.
I'll give 4 for performance, 3 for story, 3.5 for screenplay, 4 for background score and music.... 3.5 stars overall.
