Excellent all round. Ok it stretches belief in some parts but it’s a drama-with great actors and concepts. As good as Line of Duty with as many good lines for the actors. Nice to see a murder story in a totally novel environment.

Love this and so much better and more complex than I expected. Covers all aspects of the problems women faced in those days and how they had to use the only power they had- sex- in order to feed themselves and their families. Amazing actors across the board- male and female but Lesley Manville and Samantha Morton excel. Hope there’s another series.
