While we can rely on Gayle to protect black America, her choice to not condemn the violence seen in last nights Oscars undermines her and CBS. Bad call Gayle. Truly upsetting. Gayle's message is loud and clear, "It was OK for Will to hit Chris." It was not. Will should have been removed from the Oscars immediately. I have lost faith and trust in Gayle's perspective and motivation.
