The whole series is just fire. I saw the original back in the 80s so I was skeptical. It really surpassed my expectations. The cast is so dedicated to the period and it's authenticity. The acting was superlative as was the directing done by the main characte who played Lord Toranaga. Sincerely hope there will be a second season.
