I think Nickelodeon should stick to the original SpongeBob. This movie was lowkey disturbing and I wouldn’t let any kid watch it. I get you want to show SpongeBob characters interacting with humans but it’s just very weird and cringy. And the storyline was kind of dull. The animation design was honestly creepy. SpongeBob has never been that elastic and sandy was never a flying squirrel. It’s just very disturbing. Even the plot, the villain wanted cuddle with fish??? Why??? She was killing sea life to cuddle with fish, and then kidnaps them and clones them to sell them??? Why would you want kids to watch that.

The movie was heartwarming and emotional. I really felt connected with Selena. Although the ending was very emotional and heartbreaking, I still loved how they portrayed Selena and Jennifer Lopez did a terrific job playing her
