Acting is poor. Michael Jai White has acted better. His movies aren’t known for the acting but for their action. He is an incredible action martial artist even as he ages. His daughter had the best acting performance w/out a doubt but the bar was low anyway. Certainly the writing could have been checked. Bombs placed all over the arena and he instinctively knew where? They were monitored by the high tech lady that was monitoring everything and yet she didn’t know the bombs were no longer online even though she knew how many were left to be planted? Michael’s boss is in on it, sure, but why is he found in a security uniform when he was business clothes before? He didn’t need to change. How does Michael have such a tough time pulling his daughter up onto the catwalk after saving her from falling when he threw a grown man up and over his shoulders in an earlier fight? Lastly, Alpha can’t shoot the techie gun in the rafters because they are too far away for it to work but the billionaire hostage stood in the same spot a few minutes later and shot him with the same kind of gun. A little attention to detail can correct so much of the poor writing. Still interesting to watch for the fight scenes alone.

Named actors and still poor acting. Poor writing. Secret service guarding a Supreme Court Judge’s kid? Delta Force soldier’s kid takes on several CIA trained assassins and wins!? I counted one scene where the lead character fired his handgun 40+ times w/out a reload in hall at the same guy. How about we have casual conversations about general things while we are being hunted by assassins after having witnessed violence & death? Last thing, NEVER EVER has a military unit ever been given the Congressional Medal of Honor. It is an individual medal. The Presidential Unit Citation, perhaps. Even so, how would POTUS give out medals to a group of soldiers and there be one short!? Are you kidding me. That would never happen at that level, EVER. My biggest regret is that I will never get the wasted time I spent watching this movie back. Save yourself and pick something else to watch.
