I went into this film with zero context, no trailer, not knowing about the budget or even that it was a Coppola project. What started off as a confusing, and seemingly messy film, slowly revealed itself as an intriguing and visually captivating story. The performances are fantastic, and every actor plays their strange, exaggerated role wonderfully. To experience this film to the fullest, you have to accept the weirdness and let yourself fall into Coppola's world. If you're expecting to see a "normal" film, throw that idea out the window. This film surely will not be for everyone, but reviews will not do it justice. Go see this movie for yourself, but throw away your preconceived judgements and buy into what Coppola is offering. 4/5
