Love Humphrey. Love the setting. Love the work storyline. But Martha is a spoiled, self-centered brat who needs to think of someone besides herself. Humph deserves so much more. He seems to have a soft spot for women who just cut & run rather than work towards resolution. Maybe Martha is the writer’s version of todays women - if so, our culture is doomed.
