(SPOILER ALERT) I personally think this movie would be found somewhat as "boring" by people who aren't interested in poetry. The way Adam Driver presented himself as a calm man who's just not that dramatic,gets up in the morning, gets ready for work,goes for work,takes the dog for a walk, gets beer at bar, then goes to sleep shows the monotonous everyday routine of a working person. The balanced relationship of two lovers is so sweet to watch . This movie depicts serenity at its level best, the way the protagonist observes people around him, their conversations who get in the bus shows that his a true poet. Though I'm no poet , but do write poetry and this is exactly how I am in real life . I observe my surroundings and just write and that is what Paterson does in the movie. I find this movie perfect and omg what should I say about the poems, they're just incredible, so beautiful to read. One of my favourite movies so far and my favourite Adam Driver performance.
