I was incredibly disappointed by this book. I'm not a huge suspense/mystery fan and typically shy away from King novels. This is my second and probably last Steven King book. I felt like I was reading a political rant more than anything else. The plot was predictable and I didn't feel the suspense that I expected from a King novel. For me, this novel lacked depth. The characters were underdeveloped and stereotyped based on his political beliefs. It was obvious that King used this novel to vilify opposing political beliefs rather than entertain his readers.
