there's a lack of chemistry between female lead the two main characters, i've seen Huisman in movies well received and not so well received, he's had chemistry with all of them but something here – though I tried and tried to see it, there's not a nuanced trace of detectable vulnerability. Boal's work is usually defined by nuance. cinematography was great but direction and editing choices were consumed by excessive cuts lack of wide shots made it impossible to get perspective. There's no need for close ups without wide shots especially in an action thriller. Poorly or lazily edited it's a shame since the material was likely a considered piece of work based on Boal's other work. Viewers find themselves hanging on out of hope and onto Huisman and Evans' performances.
