Kim Sheppard

Cara Romero is an interesting character. She is introspective and yet self unaware in a very real way. A mother who loves her son though she doesn’t understand him. As an immigrant alone with little education and English as a second language she creates her family from her neighbors. Her employment struggles are challenging in during an economic recession but her resilience and self reliance to create a way forward is inspiring and uplifting.
