I've lost count of the number of times I've watched A Good Year: it's one of my most favourite and funniest, most witty-philisophical and romantic films I've seen. Russell Crowe's touch and timing are a revelation; in fact, all the acting is perfect. And the settings and photography: just beautiful. You may have got the message: I love this film, and I'll continue to watch it de temps en temps....

A predictable, generic, revenge thriller, which ordinarily wouldn’t be worth a glance were it not for its only asset, Denzel Washington, who’s always worth watching per se. I hope it doesn’t mean that he needed the money. As a true sequel to the more watchable Equalizer, it isn’t.
