This was the worst movie out of the entire After series. Tessa was barely in the movie that was supposed to be about there ending, how does that make any sense. The fact that Hardin barely had any character development is wild, like we’re on the last movie what are you waiting for. The reason for why Tessa was mad this time was a bit ridiculous. Hardin wrote a book about there story which got her so mad she decide to not talk to him for 2 years but him constantly lying, dinking and the lack of communication was more forgivable like make it make sense. Natalie’s character was so pointless why bring in a new character when you’re finishing the movie series. I felt lost because she was never mentioned in the other movies and felt like I miss something. Don’t even even get me started on how it ended, Tessa finally made an appearance with all of 20 minutes remaining. She didn’t even seem like she was mad at Hardin, she actually looked happy to see him which made no sense. They barely had screen time together and didn’t really get to talk until there was about 10 minutes remaining. There was again zero communication and they just hooked up again for the millionth time like nothing was wrong then after he proposes. Then we get what I think was a time jump and now they have a kid and Tessa is pregnant with another and then it’s over. I was so confused did they forget about where they said she wasn’t able to have kids? It’s like none of the movie connect they make up new stuff and characters for each of the movies. This was a huge disappointment After had such potential to be such a great movie series and it wasn’t executed correctly.
