It's October 16, 2024. I just finished reading this book. I've read several books about the Trump presidency by both supporters and critics. I say that anyone who reads this book will vote for Kamala Harris on November 5, 2024.

Mr. Buckley was a very successful author of many books. And although the story is quite absorbing the use of the phrase "had had" drove me nuts. I understand the phrase is indeed grammatically correct but nonetheless found the use of it disconcerting and nearly ruining the reading experience.
