This game is absolutely amazing. It feels just like prime mid-2000s THPS games on the classic levels with GREAT graphics. If you’ve played the old games you know exactly what to expect and this game nails it. It feels great, the soundtrack is awesome, the sound effects got an amazing overhaul (I LOVE the record scratch when you land a trick clean, so satisfying) and although there isn’t a ton of customization when it comes to your physical features, they make up for it with the options you get for apparel and skateboards. You can even customize the deck color around the edges and what your board wear looks like! Plus there’s plenty of challenges to keep you busy beyond just beating the levels. I hope this makes activision realize that if they actually put effort into a tony hawk game then people will be receptive, I would love to see new games or even more remasters in the future. Most of the 1 star reviews dragging this game are ignorant at best and just dumb hating at worst. If the game is too hard, you can lower the difficulty until it’s just as arcadey as RM or TW games. The tempo is totally different than other TGC so I turned off downswing tempo and since then the game has been really enjoyable. I’m a scratch golfer irl and I think the ball physics are insanely realistic to the point where I feel more confident in my actual playing. If you don’t like the cutaway clips to the PGA pros, TURN IT OFF IN SETTINGS. If you think there aren’t enough courses, there is a course creator in the game that in time will get built up with user created courses over time. Past TGC games had almost any course you can think of, Augusta, Bandon Dunes, Pebble Beach, Valhalla, the list goes on. Overall it’s a very solid game but I wish the putting power was a little more forgiving, and that random clubs like a Bridgestone driver nobody’s ever heard of aren’t OP. Things like custom swing or celebration animations and a licensed soundtrack would be great additions in the future if the series isn’t abandoned because of people dragging it for things you can literally change
