Very Hollywood interpretation of the book. I expected Kya to be a bit more gritty, with way less make up and whats with the neatly laundered Laura Ashley type clothes?
I have read the book which I enjoyed immensely, and I like the film but not as much.
I wish it had been made by an indie producer with less money and more heart.
