I have watched this show from inception. I did not always agree with who was sent home but understood there was a lot I did not know, especially how the food tasted. However after tonight I will never watch this show again which is sad because I am happy for those reaching their dreams. I will not watch because I was appalled at the lack of compassion displayed. Were they afraid Micah would win and have no family there this ruining the ambience. Or do they just truly enjoy kicking a young person when he is already down. I once admired the chefs, especially Joe, but am now completely disgusted by their lack of humanity. You should all be truly ashamed. I will spread this information and my opinion to every social media outlet and I truly hope the show is cancelled.

Although you probably should read the book or watch the older version first which will help you understand it better, it is still well done. The acting is fine even with only a few big names. I know the anti-King critics are trashing it. I have always ignored them, their tastes are not mine. I wait for the next episode and am so far happy with this version of The Stand.
