Really poor superhero movie. The story is just too simple and predictable. The humor feels forced and CRINGE. The side characters, especially that boy (whatever his name is) is just TOO annoying and absolutely DESPICABLE. He seems like a complete copy paste of Freddie (Shazam), in terms of how he likes superheros. Atom Smasher is COMPLETELY useless. He is basically a clumsier and stupider version of Ant Man. Even the tornado girl was better than him. Hawkman was aite, whatever, forgettable. Black Adam felt okayish . I really enjoyed his backstory though, especially the twist when he was revealed to be the father. The reasons why I am giving 2 stars are: 1) DR. FATE: GOATed version of Dr. Strange, he basically carried the entire movie. 2) COSTUME DESIGNS: man srsly, they nailed it with the costume designs, be it Dr. Fate, Hawkman, Black Adam and even the evil demon lord in the end, Each had top notch designs, visually pleasing.
