Probably not the best Star Wars movie, but still a great watch. Forget it if you expecting an intellectually challenging final movie, but it moves quickly, great action, looks good on the eye, and it completes the circle. Let’s face it Star Wars movies are all a good yarn! Good guys vs bad guys, bad guys have BFG, RYNO, big weapon, call it what you will, good guys find exploitable hole in design and blow it up! There is the religion plot of the 2 sides of the force, which again comes to the front, and of course characters die in the usual “for the greater good” way, that is part of the appeal. There is plenty of cheese, but again that’s always been the case with this franchise. Anyway, go see it, if you like Star Wars, you’ll love it anyway, if you don’t, what are you doing in the cinema!!
