Thoroughly enjoyed last nights Children in Need. The format was much better with great jokes and the lovely tribute to Sir Lenny. Quite moving at times .

Incredibly inept script and storyline , full of ridiculous plot holes . The most amazing street where apparently only 7 people live ( nobody else is ever seen ,even when loud motorbikes are ridden around at night ) police officers who have so much time , they can steal a couple of police bikes and work for the local crime boss. The aforementioned crime boss has a warehouse which is left unlocked and unguarded. When this crime boss is exposed of millions of pounds of fraud, they send one single policeman to arrest him at his mega house. The father shoots a complete stranger in the woods , who is infact a professional sharpshooter but forgets to lean against a tree when choosing his target. The father after killing this sharpshooter, simply disappears until the end. Absolutely awful.

What a shame for me it just didn't flow like the other Daniel Craig Bond films , Quantum of Solace was also poor of course .The editing seemed disjointed and the action although top notch sometimes seemed to be inserted rather than essential, as in Quantum. The narrative was lost to me initially and the frankly ridiculous fight / gun shooting scene in Cuba although light hearted, spoit it. The film improved in the second hour however and the plot twist and surprise ending were beautifully handled. I know it seems sacrilegious to criticise a Bond film but it didn't work for me and I really wanted it to . As in the children's story ' The Emperors New Clothes ' you sometimes have to go against the flow and say what you see.

I thought it was handled really well , from the opening titles to the storyline and superb flying sequences. The scene where maverick meets ice man was really quite moving. It was faithful to the original movie and so much better. The only criticism was the character Penny , it didn't really explain her connection to maverick at all .All in all a good sequel.

I thought I wasn't going to enjoy this film but I was so wrong. It is certainly visually stunning and the narrative, although similar to the first film ,cleverly turned it around. The characters were totally believable and iked the way the family experienced the issues which many encounter. . I am so glad I bought it , I'll watch it again in 18 months or so .

This really frightened me when I saw it on television over 30 years ago . It has similarities to the original film ' The Innocents ' , in the way it builds tension and atmosphere. Watch it ...I dare you .

Well my wife and I were into it from the first episode. It's well written and acted with a great cast . Can't wait for series 2 .Shame about 'His dark materials ' not getting that at all .

Yes you can see alot has been spent on making it but for me , after two episodes I still find it plodding and dull . Mike Plymouth

I think this is my favourite of all of the star wars films. It has a very good narrative and is full of action. It's also a more adult story with a sad ending and it's good to watch the original star wars movie , straight after . It also has one of the best lines in any of the star wars movies ....'There's a problem on the horizon...there is no horizon '
