After the disaster known as The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, we were all convinced that The Lion King was dead. Then 2004 hit and we had The Lion King 1 1/2 Now we were kind of puzzled to see how this movie would turn out and oh my god! This movie was an undeniable masterpiece. The Lion King 1 1/2 is everything I want to see from an origin story, Nathan Lane fit the role of Timon He is so so good in this movie. And Ernie Sabella was a fantastic choice to play Pumbaa. He is so damn good in this movie. I thought Julie Kavner was brilliant in this movie as Timon's mom and even Jerry Stiller gave a great performance as Uncle Max. And Whoopi Goldberg gave a pretty good performance as Shenzi. The casting in this movie is all unbelievable. And one of the things that I loved about this movie is how it isn’t as big or fast paced as a whole bunch of other Disney Sequel movies. The film let us get to the comdey characters, I feel like the production and Cartoon design was outstanding, the cinematography was spectacular, the atmosphere was excellent, the casting choices were amazing, some of the visual effects were awesome, and it’s very difficult for me to pin point flaws with this movie. The Lion King 1 1/2 Grade: A

DISNEY, ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!?!?!?! This is the worst sequel I've ever seen. Honestly, what was the point of this movie? It contributes nothing to the first film. They don't give us any new information and they just KILL SARABI OFF LIKE IT'S NOTHING! This movie should've never been made. It's pointless and worthless. Our first movie was about Simba and now all of a sudden it's about Kiara? And this movie doesn't really focus on Simba who's supposed to be our main character. This movie shouldn't have been made and The Lion King 1.5 should've just been the next movie with The Lion King . I give this movie a 1/10 but if I could I'd give it a negative 5!!!

Best masterpiece I've seen in a Disney Movie!!! You should watch it with your family! The villian Scar is so good, he's probably the best out of all the Disney villians ever had! Also this story isn't like any other Disney story ( I think?) when Mufasa told the story about what his father told him about the stars, it's like this saying has been going on for generations, and when he passed it to Simba, that means it'll go on forever and ever, also I had laughs with Pumba and Timon, they are just so funny, I can't just stop laughing!!! The Lion King Grade: A

I fell asleep during most of it.

This film is underatted, even though it doesn't have the same voice actors from the original Lion King, it still sounds like the original though,the background is just amazing, it looks like what footage would be like in real life, the music is still good, (Except Be Prepared) heck some of the music is better than the original, overall this remake is underatted.
