Ignore all the angry nerds, they're just tearing it apart, overthinking everything and are getting touchy that it's not the way they would have it made. I personally love all Lord of the Rings films including The Hobbit, and I think The Rings of Power is a great addition that makes the entire story come together. The story line may be predictable to an extent yes, but this is because we've already seen everything that happens in the future from the previous films. I found it very fascinating seeing everything from the past, like th e Mines of Moria, and the early lives of the characters we see in the films. The asthetics are beautiful, the plot flows well throughout the episodes and the dialogue is sophisticated but not over done. It's a yes from me.
