Surprisingly hopeful. I was worried at the beginning because there are many places where it is brutal to watch, but by the end you have faith that there are lots of people out there taking this seriously and wanting true peace and justice for all. The main and most important message is that silencing voices that are against apartheid and genocide using the justification of anti-semitism is extremely damaging to actual anti-semitism efforts. One very interesting point is that nowadays being a Jew is seen as simply expressing total blind support for Israel, which is extremely reductionist and negates the beauty and depth of the Jewish faith in a number of ways. At the same time, the people interviewed repeatedly point out that current hysteria against anti-semitism is actually counterproductive not only because it is aimed at the wrong issue (at pro-Palestine protestors, the majority of whom are not anti-semitic) but also because it ignores real anti-semitism being carried out by fascists; the Jews hurt by this serious crime are ignored because everyone is yelling so loud at Palestine supporters.
