As I watch season 1, I realize I’ve watched this entire season before but must’ve dismissed it. So I decided to watch it through again.
Oh my gosh, when it’s annoying it’s incredibly annoying. In I don’t know how many episodes somebody has to tell somebody else to “shhhh.” But do they shhh? No. They talk loudly, scream, breathe loudly, pant loudly, moan. You name it. The characters of all ages come off as unintelligent at these times. And they never stop!!!
When it comes to clues to solving the “problem,” the characters stand around looking dumbfounded. Okay, I’ll allow for once maybe twice, but, GAHHHH, enough already.
You know that saying about what insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. There’s too much of that here, but maybe that just makes me insane because I keep wanting and waiting for someone to snap the eff out of that daggone dumbstruck look.
Thus, I gave this 2 stars. Each episode I keep hoping for someone to snap out of it, and I’m determined that someone will snap out of it, and will ultimately snap everyone else out of it too, and that they’ll finally start re-engaging their brain cells. Just someone, some character ask, “hey, where’d you get that?” Then let there be a friggin’ answer and dangerous convoy to those places to retreat “that.” Hell, maybe that finally happens in some episode I’ve yet to see.
See, I told you. I think it’s me who’s insane because I’m going to grudgingly force myself to finish season one (again) and go through season 2.
Oh, and other revivers said this moves slowly. They did not lie. And one reviewer said this isn’t so much about an invasion as it is about characters. Right again. Only for me it’s very hard to like or cheer for any of these characters since too few brain cells are activated, and definitely not activated regularly.
