was better than many books i got assigned in school, tho i had to look at it through the lens of a look into the darker side of the human psychhe to get the enjoyment i needed out of it. with proper representation of algonquin members and history and some dark and horrifying scenes, it gives off some dystopic, near psychological horror feelings. it wasnt to bad, cant recommend the hard copy i did enjoy the audio book
