Seeing the 1986 Top Gun and seeing this 2022 version of it, you will most certainly understand why the call sign of this mission had to be 'MAVERICK'. Like always, Tom outdid himself and you could feel him piloting the scenes from beginning to end. And yes, they allowed us have a re-feel of the 1986 version through the popular soundtrack, picture quality, bike rides and of course, the stubborn Maverick always hijacking planes.
