This book is a refreshing, endearing, and inspiring story of hard work, compassion and truth that we all learned as children but may have misplaced as adults. I remember growing up valuing truth above all. And I also remember when I started excusing it. Rarely does a book make me sit down and really think about things. No more excuses! I thank Kamala Harris for reminding me about what is important and why. Hopefully, those that read or listen to this book will remember the ethic of truth that once was one of our own defining aspects and now more than ever needs to continue to be.
