Even though it is purely fiction, I loved this movie and have seen it ten times at least. Action packed good plot about a bank heist during WW 2 . Star studded cast with comedy and drama. Realistic Tiger tanks even though they are mock ups. Great yarn to watch.

Best train war movie ever and I have seen them all. The contrast between Frank Sinatra and Trevor Howard was excellent. Wolfgang Preiss added to the realism of the movie. Awesome visuals.
