Other than great cinematography , promising cast living upto expectations Saari Raat is a movie which is mostly metaphorical and enclosing a spectrum of interpretations. Mostly it digs deeper the emotions of the wife in a seven years of marriage whose lonliness is overlooked by husband. Despite the happiness and calmness she has in her marriage the endless contemplation and sharply intense imagination widens her expectation to seek joy ,metaphorically represented by 'Ranjan' beyond the happiness and stability. While the knowledge of his wife wanting more than him storms out the calmness of husband's apparently stable view of marriage.
