For anyone who has ever known a person who had a hard external perception and wondered why, this is a must movie.The wittiness and eloquence of the teacher is stern with humor. The student's antics are challenging for the teacher but necessary to make him a better person. Both profit from the other. This movie moved me in the right direction.

I hated the ending. After all the thrilling escape scenes and the violence a couple faced, why end the madness with the most horrible way possible? This would have been a great movie if not for the twisted end. She was a good person who didn't deserve couple of unexpected decisions. Perplexed by the reason to put her through those unfortunate mistakes. Two words to sum up the end: sadistically wrong!

When will the courts quit putting people to death who could actually be innocent? What an eye opening experience this movie was. I'm moved to tears.

Like a book that you can't put down after a few pages, this movie had me interested early on and never let me look away. Clearly a work of art with impeccable acting.
