I think despite it wasn't live, its a really talented cast that can post a dress rehearsal on national t.v. as live and have it flow as it did. I have seen rent in every form from Broadway to the movie and while it wasn't full blown live, it really was still good at the core. To pull a dress rehearsal as a live show in almost full, kudos. It was rent and it was introduced to whole new community. I would of loved to seen it full blown live but the dress rehearsal was real, which was pretty cool to.
