Wow (not in a good way)
Not a film for people who are depressed, lonely, or hate spiders.
This films sees a sleep deprived astronaut, who is lonely and finding it difficult to cope emotionally with the situation he finds himself in after leaving his pregnant partner to go on this solo mission.
He sees an english speaking giant spider on his ship, who talks to him about his emotions and life in general.
On planet earth his partner is leaving him, so yes his fears are real, and the over worked mission control get involved and try and talk her out of it as they are worried about the astronauts mental stability if he finds out. Clearly he has figured this out, which is the plot of the film, his emotional awareness of his situation and dealing with the loneliness his decision has now brought him. But its ok he has a giant spider to discuss all this with who eventually too gets bored and leaves him.
This film feels like the writer was hallusinating when writing it, he's trying too hard to make this a symbolic arty film and instead throws together this 1 hour 48 minutes of unbelievable drivel. So can also see why it failed to get much support from the film industry investors.
Overall if you like arty films with giant english speaking spiders that are clearly in a sleep deprived astronauts head then this film is for you.
