I am so disappointed after how good the first two were. So many missed opportunities to make it meaningful, inspiring, or even entertaining. It started out good and I thought they would have a good story. But as it dragged on it became clear that they didn't intend to have a strong plot line. What's the deal with the pizza story? is that really the best you could come up with, after the incredible intelligence, scrappiness and bravery of the first movie? I don't have an complaints about the acting, but the story was terrible.
Why did they kill off the nurse who had chemistry with Sam, only to replace him with some english law student in a suit? The story would have been way better if they had kept the nurse for the pizza quest (pizza quest still sucks tho). Why didn't we get to follow the group that set out on the boat who was in the second movie? That communal struggle and determination is much more compelling in my opinion than a woman's individualistic mission to get the last bit of pizza from her childhood. This movie dragged on and on, no development or general thrust. I can't believe they did this.
