I enjoy the show but get so frustrated with the people who just don't pay attention to the signs, the power of the ocean and the instructions of the lifeguards. Unlike others I don't believe it is the lifeguards who should learn foreign languages, I think the visitors to their country should learn the language of the country they are visiting and be respectful. Many of those who get into trouble speak English and still ignore the signs and the warnings of the lifeguards. I get so frustrated with those who just laugh and act like it's a joke that they nearly drowned or that the lifeguards are there for their own convenience and amusement. They are idiots and imbeciles, as H used to say! I grew up on the NW coast of the US and although the water there is too cold to really want to do much swimming we did know the dangers of the rips and the power of the ocean. Some people don't deserve to be saved they are so ungrateful and go straight back in, risking not only their lives but the lives of others.
