My 18 month old daughter absolutely LOVES Oobi and Uma! She gets so excited when the show comes on in the beginning of every episode where the singer says "Oobi's like me, Oobi's like you". She just dances in front of the tv and sings along with the theme song and is smiling from ear to ear. This is by far her favorite show of all. I like that the characters speak clearly and in very simple, basic sentence structure. In later episodes they sing about the subject of the show, which I strongly believe helps children learn and retain things better. I agree with so many other parents that I actually enjoy the show too and I look forward to the episodes compared to other kid shows. This is just a great show for young children and I can tell that there is a lot of chemistry between the acors behind this show with all of the funny character voices and ALL OF THE SONGS are really really catchy and smart. The characters are absolutely tons of fun to imitate. It's "hands down" (pun) OUR favorite show!

This is a charming little kids' show both visually and thematically. The lead characters are great role models and act very respectfully toward the adult birds and other bird children. It's a shame they don't play it anymore.
