Trying not to be too harsh here because I like Ryan Reynolds’s. He’s a good actor with a decent catalog of veritably decent rolls. But this… …This is basically Speed with no action. Minus a bus and a Bullock . More over…it’s Phone Booth with a lot less people, a little less drama and a plain old cell phone to substitute the booth. In a box. Somewhere. Just not exactly sure where. This is a movie with several reused plots, poor writing, lazy direction and terrible story boarding. Plus or minus some pretty decent acting. …Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen an ending similar to this somewhere else before. So I can’t realistically give this anymore than a 2.
