Predictably , a good many folk are positing that this album is ‘sublime ‘ and providing detailed psychoanalysis and utter psychobabble as to why this is so and posting five star reviews … believe absolutely none of it …. It’s hideous , frankly and with a solo career overly populated with frankly boring and Ill advised records , he’s somehow managed to deliver something worse than the nigh on unlistenable ‘ pros and cons of hitchhiking ‘, which is truly some achievement …..after listening to this turgid mess, I have one question “ why ?” … and I wish I cared enough to genuinely ponder this …I suspect it’s simply his massive ego or a stinging jealousy of what gilmour actually gave the Floyd ‘sound ‘ … either way this record is an abomination
