When I first started gaming when I was younger I really loved FPS games. I started off with a James Bond game for the Nintendo 64 and then bought Lost Planet for the PC and was instantly addicted. I progressed to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and found it difficult to stop playing. Around the time I turned 20 I stopped playing video games altogether unintentionally. I bought a few new Call of Duty games over the past few years but just couldn’t seem to get hooked on any of them. I bought my wife a Nintendo switch a year or two ago and she loved it. Fast forward to this Christmas, I bought my brother a switch as well and realized I want one too. But then I asked myself why I wanted one due to the fact that there aren’t many FPS games for the switch. I went back a forth because I didn’t want to buy another gaming console just for it to sit unused like my Xbox one. I never thought I would be very impressed or captivated by a game like Zelda and thought the only games I liked were FPS. I decided to pull the trigger anyways and bought The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom desperately hoping it wasn’t a mistake. From the moment I first started playing I was completely and utterly hooked. As others have said, everything about the game is incredible. The detail they put into this game is like no other video game I’ve played before. I can’t speak too much on much more than what I’ve already stated due to only playing for about 15 hours, but I can tell you that if you’re debating buying the game, do it. You most certainly will not regret it.
