Just a bad and obvious money grab using peoples love for the GT series against us. Ive been playing since one and every one I got I spent at least a month or so playing nothing else. That exciting feel is gone. Im already down to playing once every few days or so. The push for microtransactions is so obvious and ridiculous. Ive seen F2P and Android games far less greedy than this 90$ game. EVERYTHING costs. Want to simply drive your car? NP! But dont love it too much because the engine wears and the frame skews. OK, happened in previous GT games, but now shelling out close to 100 k for a new frame or engine just adds to the millions of dollars you need for this game. A number of top cars are "Invitation only" and expire Making you try to rush making cash before it expires and you have to wait until the next invitation. And the used car prices are hilarious. The cafe "quest" system basically takes that awesome tree of expansion of things to do after getting licenses in the previous games and cuts most of the branches off. Worse car/track selection, worse drive feel, false promises (pretending that engine swaps will be in game while hiding that they were really talking about swapping/buying a new same exact engine that is worn for a new one). Pay for liveries, getting one color at a time, etc. Its like they tried making the grindiest game possible to frustrate you into buying their DLC money. 200 Dollars in real money for the rarest cars is a sick joke. They'll be charging us for gas next, wait I shouldnt give them any ideas. Im not returning this since as a GT fan from day one im hoping they listen and fix this catastrophe with updates, but im not holding my breath.
