Stephen King is not the king of horror, he is the king of suspense. If you are looking for something scary, jump scares, or slasher flicks; then this is not for you. From my experiences, King specializes in building up to the climax. And, the climax has always been lackluster. In other words, enjoy the journey, not the destination.
