Definitely, worth the hype for those interested in reading present-day anthologies.
The book's theme is divine with the surging effects of poetry and short stories and is exactly enough to compel the reader to continue turning its pages. The way the author has expressed himself and the real-life tragedies through his poems and short stories, also makes the reader passionate to continue the story till the end. Moreover, if you are somebody obsessed with poetry, being the hopeless romantic type of reader, this book is the resort to your life.
While, although the book is well written on the aspects of lovesickness and loneliness in a human being's life, there's one factor leading to its plot deterioration.
In some of the stories, it is noticeable that there is a lack of appropriate usage of the expository writing format of literature, which causes the work to change its direction slightly. This is the only downside of this book(anthology) spanning around 700 pages, otherwise, everything else is perfect to be considered and appreciated by every other avid reader.
Likewise, also here are some other things that I liked and disliked about this book:
Things I liked the most:
1) Poetic effects and use of verses
2) Relatively driven real-life plots & scenes presented in the book
3) Good level of narration in short stories and dialogue-driven writing
4) Well-written for readers with an interest in multiple reading genres, alongside anthologies
5) Suitability for every age group to read, including young adults, adults, or the elderly
Things I disliked:
1) Less Expository writing effects within the short stories presented in the book when essential
2) Short stories with multiple characters, turning out to be a little difficult to grasp and understand
Considering this review, I can guarantee you this book will be a great choice for you if you are a reader who is obsessed with reading anthologies, especially those encapsulating poems.
