One of my all time favorite video games! It's a classic mystical fantasy ARPG with inspirations from Lord of the Rings, Hamlet, and Dungeons and Dragons. Its esoteric and dark narrative act as a fitting home to a cavalcade of memorable characters of all shades of morality and temperament, which all make for an immaculately enticing world and journey. The intricate world design, endless replayability, and free form combat system design make it still an innovative and cutting edge take on a genre often rooted in Souls-like formulas and Skyrim riffing.
The only complaint I would have is that the game has a big emphasis on exploration, travel, and dungeon crawling, meaning that often times you'll spend hours discovering new pieces of the map which may appear interesting, but given that you may not yet be at the part of the narrative in which that part is useful, it may appear empty or inactive until you move further. Suchlike the catacombs and thieves dens.
