This movie is, indeed, very disturbing, but at the same time it was incredibly powerful, and the acting was excellent. I didn’t cry, but got very tense, sitting on the edge of my chair, watching this. Clare is an incredibly strong, angry, and dominating woman, and let nothing stop her, until she got her revenge. I loved the character Billy as well. The last 20-30 minutes of the film was really touching, but still violent. I sensed that Clare and Billy both realized that, despite racial differences, they had experienced the same trauma and loss, and seemed to form an emotional bond.
I feel it is necessary to warn viewers:
If you get extremely bothered by scenes involving rape, and killing families then you shouldn’t watch.
