I decided to watch this because I was very interested in it. It came out in theaters at an awkward time, so it can easily be overlooked for others. However, I felt it was a story I needed to watch, listen, and learn. Indeed, I did all of those and more. As a young woman it infuriates and saddens me that 1 man and many others was able to do this to so many victims. All because the system and people failed them at all corners. Whether they looked the other way, down graded it, or just profited of it. But I did learn to also appreciate not just the people who spoke out about it, but also who researched and went after this story without taking a NO for an answer. Because so many said NO this is wrong and was tossed aside and buried. The movie in general is very good. Though I did feel like it lagged in the beginning, once it took off it was quite amazing. I recommend this for a learning experience for anyone who wants to understand the Weinstein and Miramax scandal.
