NOW THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE DRAMAS. What can I say about this drama other than its such a beautiful love story of redemption and restoration and it so well done. This drama is on my binge watch list, and I watch it at least once a month. This drama is one of my happy places and there is not allot of dramas that make me happy. I would really love to see more of him in romantic dramas. There is so few Chinese actors who can truly play the role of an alpha male and he truly is ALL man. There is nothing feminine about him. In all honesty I find allot of Chinese actors to be way too feminine. I love that this is the first drama I have seen where she falls pregnant and their daily lives leading to her giving birth. I would love to see more marriage, pregnant drama series. The first episode is so well done, and his fight scene is OFF the chain. I was disappointed that we did not see other fight scenes, but I understand the love story was the focus. Our male lead it’s my first time seeing him. I love that he is a SWAT officer and an alpha male to boot. I love what a gentleman he is, that he opens doors, cooks, and fixes things too many perfect things to mention. I love that he is willing to take care of his friend’s son like his own, never asking for money. I love that even though she earns more money than he is not intimated by that. That does not make him any less a man. I think most women love men in uniform. They chose the perfect couple for this drama. Their chemistry is off the chain and the kissing/intimate scenes….WOWZER..!! I love our female lead. I have seen her in other dramas, and she stars in my all-time favorite number one historical drama “SWORD AND BROCADE.” She is such a beautiful and talented actress. I love her immaturity which led to their breakdown, but I hate that they waited 10 years before reuniting. However, she truly matures over the years and shows a better, stronger more mature temperament. She realized that being a SWAT officers’ wife is truly a sacrifice. I don’t know if I could ever be an officer’s wife. People don’t realize it’s not just the officers that are serving, it’s the families too. One of my favorite scenes in this drama is when the boy states that he likes her and he says how dare you love my wife. So, possessive but so cute at the same time. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. Well done to the entire team and directors. You all did such a great job. I pray this drama makes billions over the years.

Since I saw him in Love between devil and fairy, I have become a fan of his. I see that he is new to the acting scene, but I can already see that he has talent and that he’s going to go far in this industry. He is showing himself to be versatile actor by taking controversial roles. I can see he is like Leo Wu who always takes different types of roles. In here he plays a guy who has schizophrenia, but they make him look like a vampire instead with the whole blood thing…stupid. However, he does such a good job in playing somebody who has issues. I love his intelligence and how he has the backup plan to the back plans. He literally prepares himself for all scenarios. All the men in this drama who is vying for her love are all amazing men and I hate that out of 36 episodes there love story only starts in the 20th episode. Its her fear of him that she will not allow herself to see him as a real man. In the end, he shows himself to be the ONLY one who was willing to the beyond for her. I love that they showed a little more skin and some racy scenes, but I really loved it. It’s not normal for the couple to sleep together before marriage in a historical drama. This drama and director is willing to make it a little more edgier and I LOVED IT. The costumes, set design and music score is also very well done. His bodyguard's and the Generals fighting scenes is some of the best I have seen in a drama. I LOVED the ending with the babies, but I hated that once again they chose to cut the wedding scene out and put it as a separate special episode. Why…. We are watching their love story and we deserved to see their wedding included in the drama. Everybody did an amazing job. Thank you!

I LOVE THE MALE LEAD AND HOPE TO SEE HIM IN FUTURE DRAMAS. Contains spoilers. Another drama that had so much potential. In part I can see why it has a 9.6 rating but, in my eyes, it’s not worth the ratings it received. I must ask the question why the high ratings and I can only speculate that its men voting for her because she’s beautiful. Yes, I agree she is, but her soul is repulsive. In all my years of watching dramas I have not come across a female lead characterization that I hated more. She is cold, cruel, merciless, heartless, calculative, mean and unfeeling and nothing about her is redeemable. So, what if she did a few good deeds. She is not the proverbial ride or die chick. She never supported him the way she should have. She, however, was never fully invested in him or their relationship. She did not once stand up for him. She chose to hide, fake her death and took from him the opportunity to see her pregnant or see the birth and growth of their son. Even when she is away from her son, she showed no signs of missing him. Maybe it’s the women because of our wonderful male lead. I am total fan of him after seeing him in ‘BROCADE AND SWORD.” Our male lead in all aspects is a perfect 10. Who would not want his love, adoration and absolute devotion. He remained faithful and devoted to her from beginning to end. He never wavered or gave up on her or their marriage and he protected her the most. While she stabbed him, poisoned him, ran out on him so many times. Each time they would get back together, I had no hope that it would last because I never trusted her to not hurt him, which she continuously did. She did not deserve him, now and never. This is the type of drama I hate the most because she never took care of him like he did her. The one party should never be better than the other, marriage is an equal partnership. The only thing I loved about this drama is their intelligence on war strategies and together they were unbeatable.

This C-Drama is the MOTHER OF ALL MODERN CHINESE DRAMAS. This drama has proven itself to be worthy of the title BEST DRAMA OF ALL TIME. Its set in Finland in Europe and China which I love and the fact that he speaks such good English has me tickled pink. I also loved that they included other races/cultures which is rare. I think that with C-Dramas going worldwide other cultures should be included as a salute to fans worldwide. Our ML has personified the perfect boyfriend/husband. Ladies, I think we all can attest this is this ML is what we all want in a man. Our ML I first saw him in “Love in the Galaxy” and in there he plays “Ling Bhuyi”. Ling Bhuyi in my book is the ALPHA OF ALL ALPHAS. In this drama he plays a similar role but more romantic. I have never seen a drama where the male lead is so GOOD to a woman. For him it’s love at first sight and from that very first episode to the last his total focus is on her. I must be honest I love the dramas where the men fall first. She is the beginning and end of all things including his career. One of my favorite things about him is that in every episode he wants to hug her, kiss her, touch her constantly and wanting to be close to her. Those sexy looks he gives her is so endearing. I love him making sure that he carries her bag and even makes sure that she walks on the right side of the pathway. I love that he tries to do everything to make sure her life is easier and spoils her immensely. The other thing I loved is the constant PDA in front of others. Where other dramas hide it, they reveled in it, and I LOVED IT. It’s my first time seeing the FL. She is cute and I am glad that did not make her act like a little girl and kept the teddies to a minimum which is how all dramas should be. Even though she was young they did not dress her up like a little girl. However, my biggest pet pee in her characterization is her constantly rejecting him when he wants to hug and kiss her. In all honesty I just did not think she deserved him. She would get mad for the stupidest things. But in the end, it was an adult drama where adults are adults. I love playing billiards, so it was exciting for me to watch the Chinese games perse. This beautiful love story deserved a wedding. Once again, we do not get the wedding scenes at the end which is disappointing.

I cannot give these 4 stars; I wish I could because I like this couple. I wanted to like this drama because I like both leads. I really did not understand this drama at first because I did not like the way he treated her but found out that he loved her at first sight 3 years before this meeting. I love the domineering/alpha male/jealous dramas like everyone else. Our ML is one of the most jealous characters I’ve seen in a drama series to date. This explains why every time he gets jealous, which is almost every episode, he takes it out on her, because he does not know what to do with how he feels about her. Too funny...!! I did not like that all men fell in love with her because she’s beautiful which really fueled his jealousy. He is one of the worst communicators of all the dramas I’ve seen. I don’t know any relationship that will grow and bond with such a serious lack of communication and grunting does not work. They had great chemistry. I wish there was no breakup because he kept saying no matter what she did he would remain by her side, he lied. He never even gave her a chance to explain. After the breakup she is in obvious pain and tried to show it in the scene where she collapses in tears at her office, but it was not believable. Once again, it reminded me of the scene in Hidden love where she thinks he has a GF and goes to see him. Zhao Lusi is such a talented actress that her feelings/emotions/pain was almost too real. We invested our time in watching this drama and it’s such a disrespect to the fans when they don’t include the wedding in the drama. I know there was a wedding because I saw it in the intro, but I had to go on YOUTUBE to find it. Why…? Do we as fans mean so little to you? Instead, they choose to focus it on one of the couples that we are not interested in. What’s happening to the dramas lately where they are doing things that make no sense. Overall, this could have been an amazing drama. Breakups in my eyes and we all should see it this way. If you break up with somebody it means you never loved them. So, when I see breakups in a drama series, I no longer see the bond they had before because that’s now broken. I see somebody who left because they did not have the guts to handle the good, the bad and the ugly. A person who chose not to forgive, not have any compassion, or show mercy/grace to one they love the most. That’s not love, that’s being cruel when you don’t have to be. This is why Hidden love, my little happiness, Healer, K2, What happened to Secretary Kim are such amazing dramas because they appreciate the art of love.

The best thing about these dramas is that this boy can do some kissing scenes and his strength. I LOVE, LOVE HOW STRONG HE IS. There is nothing sexier than a man who can carry his women. I had to change my review. At first, I said do not watch this drama but after episode 20 to the last episode this drama takes a turn for the better. I first saw him in LOVE 020 and wanted to see more of him. He is one of those actors who has is almost perfect in that he has a natural acting ability, has an excellent physique, is so strong, a master kisser and I want to see more of him in modern dramas. He is also the ONLY reason I started watching this drama. This is one of those slow-moving dramas and I am not the most patient of people, but I tell you after episode 20 you will be hooked. This drama has some of the best kissing scenes of all dramas I have seen to date. He should be on the master kiss list because the boy can kiss. I am still not a fan of FL and that thing she does with her mouth still irks me to no end. The character she portrays in this drama for me is so unlovable and NOT redeemable at all even at the end of the drama I still did not like her. She is selfish, cowardly, evil, narcissistic, and not pretty at all. This wonderful/beautiful man who always turns up when she needs him. She constantly rejects him; they have a huge lack of communication on both sides, and they are so immature. She really did not deserve him. I love his physique in here and I am glad he is not following the current trend in China that’s demanding their male lead actors to be so skinny and way too white that makes them look like vampires which is so unattractive. Some of these actors are so weak that they cannot carry our FL and then they blame her. This is why I rather watch Korean dramas because our Korean Male Leads are more believable when it comes to action/male/romantic dominant roles. Our American actors put the work into looking good and having muscle and making sure they can do what needs to be done. I will say this she is different from the other FL I have seen. Not sure if she is the one flying the helicopters, but I did like that part of her. She is wild for sure, but I still think they could have chosen somebody else for this role.

This is one of my all-time favorite C-dramas. In all honesty it took me a minute to watch this drama because I could not get used to the FL. But once I watched it, I was so glad they chose her because nobody else could have done this role. They are now one of all-time favorite couples. This drama also has the BEST engagement proposal EVER in Chinese drama, as well as the BEST wedding ever. All girls just love men in uniform and it’s a shame we don’t have more dramas like this. I loved that he wore his uniform and her dad giving her off was so emotional. I love the father/Daughter exchanges. I loved the dance moves, and I came to find out later that our ML is also a singer/dancer. This is number one on my list of dramas as well as on my binge watch list. Their chemistry and love story are so adorable. Unlike most of other Chinese actors this guy is ripped. I also love how when she finds out her BFF is in love with her, she marks the line with him and cuts him out for his own good. All dramas should do that. Their love story is so endearing, so beautiful and I love how she loves him and goes out of her way to win him over. One of my favorite things is that this drama paid attention to the details. The Director did an amazing job of making sure that the small details were taken care of. Everybody from actors to all involved in this drama did an amazing job. I hope to see more of their works in the future. The music as well as costumes is all amazing.

I have a love-hate relationship with this drama series. I have watched it a few times because I want to support our ML. I hope we see him in future dramas. He is another Taiwanese actor that has natural sex appeal, a good kisser and he is good looking. He is the total package deal. It’s hard to find that combination amongst our Chinese actors. I love this ML and I love how he actively pursues her. I have never seen a man pursue a woman with such ferocity. Please understand I hate cheating of any kind and this drama is filled with it, but we fall out of love with people all the time. I just don’t like how they handled it in this show. Our ML broke up with his GF in the 2nd episode, our FL remained engaged for a while. This is also the first drama I have seen who has an actual sex scene that is very well done. The chemistry between our leads is “SIZZLING HOT” and it carries through the drama until we hit episode 9 and it goes downhill from there. It’s almost like the drama got new writers or something bad happened. From episode 10-13 you hardly see them together; the ending is too awful to speak of as she is intimate with him then decides to go find herself for a year and at the end meets him at her best friend’s wedding. We as the fans deserve an engagement and wedding.

If you did not watch this drama, then do yourself a huge favor and watch it. It’s one of those shows that is SO GOOD that it’s painful to watch it end. There is only one other drama that makes me feel this way and that is “DATE WITH MY FUTURE.” I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS DRAMA. Best drama so far. I am an avid fan of Chinese dramas (not so much k-dramas anymore) because of the how racist Koreans are towards people of color. I finally watched it, and I knew I was going to like it because anything Zhao Lusi does turns to gold. These two leads are the only ones that could have done this drama series. Zhao is one of those actresses who was born to be an actress. She is amazing and I will forever support her and all she does. Our male lead for me is new as I have not seen him in other dramas and his acting is amazing and so natural. The way he spars with her and meets her word for word. The hidden glances and even the way he wipes her tears is so sweet. He is just so adorable. I sincerely hope they do not change his smile or his teeth. I love that they left the morning beard on and did not overdo him with makeup. I love that he was mostly natural. I have not seen him in any other dramas, and I really hope to see him in future dramas. One of my favorite things about this drama which as you can tell is a lot is that he is always carrying her bag for her. From the first time he meets her all the way to the end he is not only carrying her bag and looking manly when he does it and protecting all that is hers even when she is not around. The sparring in this drama series is some of the best I have seen, and I love it. I wish more dramas would incorporate the same. It is so refreshing to see them have actual lines and not say the same things repeatedly. Her character really surprised me. According to societal norms which apparently dictate our age ranges and our family backgrounds I really did not think she would be the backbone to be with him. But she surprised me each time. I also did not like how she constantly lied to him but I now realize that it was all based on timing. My only thing I want to say is why are they making these Asian males look almost feminine and that’s such a shame. Ladies, I know we want our alpha males to be just that alpha males. Yet they make them lose all the weight or have them looking so skinny that it makes me wonder where they get their strength from because I have no muscle to carry these females. I have seen dramas with Yang Yang where he has an amazing physique and not looking like he is about to collapse. Why can they not do that with all our Asian male leads. I also love that all the men in this drama are that MEN. This couple is now on my number one list of most adorable couples. I LOVE the amazing family dynamic in this series. The best and the ONLY series I have seen so far with a healthy portrayal of a Chinese family. Makes us wonder if there are more or if dysfunctional families are the norm in China. Her parents are so amazing and so accepting of him as all families should be. The brother and sister relationship in this drama is amazing. I loved it so much and I prefer this type of relationship to the secondary couple that they tend to do.
