Awkward and uncomfortable sums this movie up. Not just for the viewer but it's also how Johansson appeared to feel throughout.... unless she was speaking her lines, (which was very seldom) she hardly looked like herself which left you begging her to speak more as it was the only time she seemed natural and genuine as the talented actress that she is. Otherwise, the only reason to watch or continue watching this film (for some) will be for her "other" talents that have nothing to do with acting. Speaking of "nothing to do with" were the scenes without Johansson in them, that seemed to never have anything to do with or actually contribute to the plot. It was so intentionally painful I had to zip forward through the long, overly dramatic, drawn out scenes that were intended to be "thought provoking", I'm sure but I thought they just missed their mark and added nothing more than, more awkwardness for Mrs. Johansson.
This movie was not meant to be enjoyed by most everyone, except for those either in the industry, or people who are into the finer elements of movie making, such as lighting, mood music etc. which, most of us are not!
