As a lover of ID channel and all things that make up the mysterious, I decided to watch this movie about a mother whose daughter disappeared. I was Not expecting to fall in Love with it. The characters are so real, from family fights, sisters jabbing at each other to the next moment forgiving, the awfulness of loving someone that doesn't show you that love in return, trying to find yourself and then thinking all is well, only to have your new wonderful life upended once again.. everything this movie is was realistic. The language, the relationships, the lonliness, the loss, the sacrifice. It's definitely not a movie for children, as the language is quite harsh but again all too real. And of course the ending not being all "Hallmarky" was very real as well. I would definitely recommend this film and plan on looking up the directors other movies in hopes of finding another hidden gem.
