Have the designers of this game ever played poker online? I can’t believe this slapdash game costs money while much much better poker games are free. Where to begin? Biggest issue is the huge amount of time spent on pointless and repetitive animations. These delay play and add absolutely nothing. Then there’s the camera which you might as well just not bother trying to use because every time somebody sneezes control is wrested away and you have to look at the dealer’s hands or another stupid animation. The only reason I bought this game was to play multi table tournaments. Guess what: most MTTs I’ve played are at least 88% bots who are easy enough to beat, but I want to play with real people. It’s probably not the devs fault that the play area overflows my screen on Xbox. This doesn’t happen on my PS5 though. This game rubs your nose in its ugliness and cheapness at every turn. Try Prominence Poker, it’s free and rather beautiful and all that’s missing are the MTTs.
