I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and was totally surprised. I had no expectations when selecting it, had never even heard of it, but stumbled upon a clip and went from there. Quirky characters is always a category I cant resist and these were the ultimate in quirkiness. The town had enough personality to stand as an additional character in this story. The story was hysterical, sad, gritty, poignant, and truly unique...and it has stayed with me for days. So, if you are into tales of bat s#*t crazy townspeople with a well told bit of mystery and lots of chuckles I highly recommend The Dressmaker
